I’m sure most of us have played the game ‘hide and seek’ during our childhood days. It’s a very simple one – you hide and then someone has to find or seek you. šš
In Psalm 63 David starts by saying “O God, you are my God; earnestly I seek you…”. But as you read further in verse 7 he says “for you have been my help, and in the shadow of your wings I will sing for joy”. The psalmist knew he was hidden and well protected in the shadow of God’s wings. Yet he still seeks for God. For he knew that the more you seek him the more you become like him.
What are you seeking today? Are you still hiding from God? Remember there is no place you can hide where God can’t find you. In fact God came seeking for you and me in the person of Jesus Christ the Son of God. And I’m so glad that he found me! Hallelujah!
